Day 30: Clear-out-the-fridge Omelette

The last day of the #zerowastechallenge! This was an easy lunch, using bits and pieces from the fridge.

I used a couple of rashers of bacon, some tired mushrooms, half a dozen very old cherry tomatoes and the end of a red pepper. And eggs, of course. Seasoned with roasted onion and garlic skin seasoning and a bit of black pepper.
You can use almost any veg or meat leftovers in an omelette.

I liked how the article makes clearing out your fridge and making a simple omelette feel fun and not like a chore, and it made me smile thinking about my own messy fridge days. I remember once trying Online assignment help while my fridge overflowed and I kept getting distracted every time I heard a clatter. That mix of small tasks and school work taught me to slow down and enjoy little wins in daily life.
I read the post about clearing out the fridge and making an omelette and it made me smile thinking how small tasks can feel great when done. Last semester I felt stuck with a big pile of work so I used MyLab class help once to get through a tough spot and that gave me a fresh start. That experience showed me simple steps and asking for help can make things easier.
